Olympic Blunder

Call me mean. Call me what ever you want. What I saw the last night on the olympics last night, was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Not only was it funny, but in my estimation, it was exactly what should have happened.

Jacobellis was way ahead in her snowboarding race when she decided to be a showoff and pose for the cameras. She didn't land her last jump because of her hot dog move, and crashed causing her to lose out on the gold medal. See the attached story. http://sports.yahoo.com/olympics/torino2006/snowboarding/news?slug=yhoo-agoldengaffe&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

If there is ever a time in sports where we don't need showboats, it is in the olympics. Jacobellis deserved what she got, and she should be ashamed. She will now go down in history for this gaffe. My guess is her career will not be remembered, except for this faux paus.

I laughed hard.

Kung Pao Chicken

I don't have anything to write about, other than the fact that it was a long day at work and that I am very hungry.

I am going to go home and beg my wife to go out for Chinese food tonight. I am craving some Kung Pao Chicken. I think tonight I want it extra spicy and a lot of rice.

Let' s hope my wife is up for Chinese food tonight.

Pain Possibly Added To Art

I am a huge Van Gogh fan. Not only do I find his art intriguing, but his life was fascinating as well. He was very often misunderstood, and endured a lot of hard times.

E.J. Mundell has written an interesting article about what may have contributed to the art of some of the greats, such as Van Gogh.
