They Are Coming Home

I have been batching it for the last week. Yes, I got a little more sleep because my baby girl London was not waking me up in the middle of the night. Yes, I got to eat pizza, hot dogs, and a couple of other foods that aren't so good for me. I went golfing, went to a Cardinals game, sat by the pool and read a book, and even went to a bar and ate some buffalo wings. These things are all very good.

However, I have missed my wife and my baby London like crazy. Today they are coming back home, and I am pumped. They have been gone a week and I am very excited to have them back. Brittany's youngest sister Domini just graduated from high school so they went back to Conrad, Montana http://www.epodunk.com/cgi-bin/genInfo.php?locIndex=27697 to celebrate that event. The house seemed too quiet and empty without London's cooing or crying. The house didn't seem as alive without Brittany's smile or laugh. My house and my life are just more complete with them around.

You know it is very cliche, but your spouse honesty does become the other half of yourself. There were nights while Brittany was gone that I would just sit there feeling like I wasn't right. I just felt like something was missing.

So on my last day of living the bachelor lifestyle I plan on watching some sports, laying by the pool, and I may eat another hot dog. However, at 9 pm when the plane lands in St. Louis I can't wait to hold my wife and baby girl. I have missed them, and I am glad they are coming home.

We would love to see a picture of your lovely family, or at least some more pictures of London!!!

Tim,
I hope you enjoyed the rare opportunity to regenerate yourself. I understand the unusual emptiness when family is away. Take care and hope to see you July 22nd.
