Trail Mix

One of my new favorite things to eat for breakfast is the Nature Valley Chewy Trail Mix Bar. I personally like the Apple Cinnamon bar. It has a great mix of almonds, apple, sunflower seeds, and cranberry. I urge you to try one. I think you will like it.

I would like to hear what everyone else chooses to eat for breakfast. Is it eggs and toast? A good old soda? Let me know. Maybe I am missing out on something.

That is it for now. I'll have something more to say later today.

brent osborne here, long, long time no see/talk, etc.

breakfast of choice: vanilla yogurt, bananas, and walnuts and raisins. of late, add in blueberries and subtract the raisins. quite tasty. and the occasional bowl of oatmeal w/ walnuts and raisins. men's health magazine has convinced me of the need to not be a fat old dad. and mix in decaf coffee for good measure, mostly for the breath effects.

Bacon. Then for lunch: a bacon sandwich. Mid afternoon I'll fry up some bacon to tide me over until dinner, where I will have some bacon. Bacon, bacon, bacon! It's called the "Grumpier Old Men" diet. It won't make you skinny but it will make you happy.

Tim,
Well, it depends on the day...this morning I made some Banana Nut muffins...really healthy with wheat flour, oat bran, wheat germ, finely chopped almonds, etc...and very yummy too. Really, ask Kyle:) Other mornings it's oatmeal or cream of wheat with blueberries, sometimes a banana with peanut butter, and on a rare occasion...cold pizza:)
I will try to write more often on your blog. Have a great day...and Tell Brittany "hi"

Those are actually one of my favorites too. And in case you weren't already aware of this, they are one of the only granola bars available at your regular grocery store that do not contain any trans fat or hydrogenated oils. And this is a very good thing! I also drink a lot of choco soy milk and eat a banana for breakfast. And if I am super hungry, I will treat myself to vanilla yogurt, mixed with granola and frozen fruit! Mmmm.. all this breakfast talk is making me hungry.

And in answer to your question about my canoe... check out my recent blog entry!! :)
